About Buff Boyz

Buff Boyz is a UK-based party entertainment company founded in York in 2019, providing buff butlers, naked butlers, male strippers, mobile cocktail making classes and hen party life drawing for hen parties, birthdays and private events across the country.

We started after seeing how inconsistent the buff butler market was — entertainers turning up late, unsure how to manage a room, leaving hosts running their own parties. So we built Buff Boyz around fixing that: every entertainer completes an onboarding and training process before their first booking, covering drinks service, group hosting, games and professional conduct. Nobody attends an event without it.

Today we work with handpicked entertainers in every region of the UK, managed from our base at Blake House in York. We hold public liability insurance, with documentation available for venues on request, and we've been recognised by the LuxLife Global Wedding Awards 2023. Policies

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We know plans change. If you need to cancel, let us know in writing as early as possible by emailing info@buffboyz.co.uk. The following terms apply to Rochdale bookings:

More than 30 days Full refund of the balance paid. The £20 deposit is non-refundable.
14 to 30 days 50% refund of the balance paid. The £20 deposit is non-refundable.
Less than 14 days No refund of deposit or balance.

The £20 deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances, as it secures your date and our entertainer's time. If you'd prefer to reschedule rather than cancel, contact us as early as you can and we'll do our best to find a new date subject to availability — though requests made less than 14 days before the event may be treated as a cancellation.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel — for example, entertainer illness — we'll offer a replacement for the same date, a rescheduled booking, or a full refund of everything paid, including the deposit. Full details are on our Terms and Conditions page.

Booking Terms & Conditions

By requesting a quote, paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you agree to our full Terms and Conditions. In brief:

  • Bookings are confirmed once the £20 deposit is received and we've sent written confirmation. The balance amount and deadline are set out in that confirmation.
  • Age: all guests must be 18 or over. This is a strict condition of every booking.
  • The service is hosted entertainment — life drawing, drinks service and games. Lap dances and sexual contact are never part of any Buff Boyz service.
  • Your responsibilities: ensuring the venue is suitable and permitted for the activity, and that all guests treat the entertainer with respect.
  • Liability: our liability is limited to the total paid for the booking. We're not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, in which case we'll offer a reschedule or refund.
  • Insurance: Buff Boyz holds public liability insurance; documentation is available to venues on request.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Your Data

Privacy

Buff Boyz is the data controller for any personal information you share when enquiring or booking, and we handle it in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. In short:

  • We collect only what we need to process your booking — your name, contact details and event details — plus standard website analytics data.
  • Payments are processed securely by PayPal; we never see or store your card details.
  • We do not sell your data, and we share booking details with your assigned entertainer only as far as needed to deliver the event.
  • Booking records are kept for six years for HMRC requirements; enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months.
  • You have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time. Email info@buffboyz.co.uk to make a request.

Do I need any art experience?

None at all. The session is built around fun, not skill — most people haven't picked up a pencil since school, and that's exactly the point.

Are materials included?
