Booking Terms

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A £20 deposit secures every booking and is non-refundable in all circumstances. Beyond the deposit, our cancellation terms are based on how much notice you give before your event date:

To cancel, email info@buffboyz.co.uk as early as possible. If you'd prefer to reschedule rather than cancel, contact us as soon as you can and we'll do our best to find a new date subject to availability; reschedule requests made less than 14 days before the event may be treated as a cancellation.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel — for example due to entertainer illness or circumstances beyond our control — we'll offer a replacement entertainer, a rescheduled date, or a full refund of all monies paid including the deposit.

By requesting a quote, paying a deposit, or confirming a booking, you agree to our booking terms. In brief: a booking is confirmed once the £20 deposit is paid and we've sent written confirmation, with the balance due by the date stated there. All guests must be 18 or over and ID may be requested. Our entertainers are professional hosts entitled to a safe, respectful environment, and may end a booking if behaviour is inappropriate. Venue suitability is the customer's responsibility, and we hold public liability insurance, with documents available to venues on request. Bookings are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Privacy

Buff Boyz is the Data Controller for the details you share when you enquire or book, including your name, email, phone and event details. We use this only to handle your booking and process it under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We don't sell your data; payments are handled securely by PayPal, we never store card details, and booking records are kept for six years for HMRC. You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time.

Does anyone need bartending experience?

No. The afternoon assumes complete beginners — the butler shows each technique first, and you follow at your own pace.

What does the venue need to have?

Room for the group to stand around a surface together, and that's about it. The butler brings the bar itself: spirits, mixers, fresh ingredients, glassware, shakers, muddlers, jiggers, strainers and ice.

Can people who aren't drinking still join in?

Yes. Every drink has an alcohol-free version built with the same method and ingredients, just without the spirits, at no extra cost.

Can we settle the cocktail list before the day?

Yes — you choose it during booking, so the butler turns up with exactly the right ingredients.

How long is it, and when should people arrive?

The class itself is 2 hours. Add about 30 minutes either side for setup and pack-down, both of which the butler takes care of.

Is there a minimum number?
