Arrival and setup before the session
Your host arrives ahead of the booked start time to build the bar station.
Welcome and first cocktail
The group is introduced to the equipment, the method and the first drink.
Three guided cocktail rounds with games
Hands-on instruction across shaking, stirring, building, balancing and garnishing, with interactive rounds between drinks so nobody is standing in a queue.
Session finish and equipment pack-down
Your host clears the bar station away.
It is a genuine class — guests make the drinks themselves — but it is hosted for entertainment as much as instruction. If you'd prefer a quieter, more technical delivery with less banter, say so when you enquire.
Flag anything that affects access when you book: a strict entry or noise window, stairs, restricted parking, or a small kitchen. Easier to plan around than to discover on arrival.
Mocktails, allergies and dietary needs: non-drinkers take part fully using non-alcoholic recipes. Give us mocktail numbers and any allergies or dietary requirements at the enquiry stage, not on the day, so your host can plan ingredients.

Every Buff Boyz host who runs a cocktail class works to the same set of expectations before and during a booking.
Induction
New hosts are briefed on how a Buff Boyz booking works before their first event: arrival and setup routine, conduct and guest boundaries, the standard apron, collar, cuffs and bow tie, and who to contact if something changes on the day.
Cocktail-method training
Hosts are expected to be able to demonstrate and teach the recipes and techniques used in a class — shaking, stirring, building, measuring, balancing and garnishing — rather than simply make the drinks themselves.
Hygiene expectations
Clean equipment at every booking, hygienic ice and garnish handling, clean hands and presentation, and equipment washed down between events.
Hosts work on the surface you provide, so it should be clear and clean before they arrive.
Allergy briefings
Any allergy or dietary information you give us at the enquiry stage is passed to your host before the event, along with the mocktail numbers, so ingredients can be planned rather than substituted on the spot.
Responsible alcohol service
Hosts are expected to pace the session sensibly across the three rounds, keep water available, and use their judgement about serving any guest who has had enough.
All guests must be 18 or over. Hosts may decline to serve, and can end a session early if guest behaviour makes it unsafe to continue.
