Hen Party Life Drawing in Redcar

What happens during a life drawing hen party in Redcar?
The first 45 minutes — drawing. Your entertainer sets up, hands out the materials and holds a series of poses, starting short and getting longer. Nobody is marked, nobody is compared, and the sketches are yours to keep or destroy.
The second 45 minutes — hosting. He changes into the butler apron and switches to hosting: pouring the drinks you have provided, running the party games he brings with him, and getting the group photographs. This half is the same service as a buff butler booking, compressed into 45 minutes.
Setup and changing time sits outside the 90 minutes, so the clock starts when your session does.
What does the model wear?
Full nudity is not part of the life drawing service. The attire for the drawing half is confirmed in writing before the day. For the hosting half he wears the standard butler outfit: a front-covering apron over bare skin, with a collar, cuffs and a bow tie.
Photographs belong to the hosting half, once the apron is on, and your entertainer’s agreement applies. Guests do not make physical contact with the entertainer during either half.
Is it a taught class?
No. Nobody teaches you to draw here — the model poses and hosts, and the session is built around the group rather than around learning. If your group genuinely wants to improve, a studio class will serve you better.
What is included, and what do you provide?
We bring: the entertainer, charcoal, pencils, paper and easels, the party games, and the full mobile setup.
You provide: the room, all food and drink, and the glassware. Your host serves what you have bought — he does not bring drinks with him.
Is life drawing right for your group?
Six guests is the minimum. There is no maximum on the booking, and the £260 is for the group rather than per head, so six guests and fourteen guests pay the same base rate. In practice the room sets the ceiling.
Everyone present in the property must be aged 18 or over. It is booked most often for hen parties, and also works for milestone birthdays and work socials.
What room do you need in Redcar?
- Is there one room everyone can sit in, facing the same way? Not a corridor of sofas or a space people have to crane around.
- Is there a second room or bathroom the model can change in? It needs a door.
- Where do the windows face, and do the curtains close? A ground-floor front room looking onto the Esplanade needs curtains that actually draw.
- Is there floor space for easels, not just seating? Easels take more room than people expect.
Seafront apartments usually pass on floor area, so the key questions are changing space and windows. Larger self-catering houses tend to answer all four. A standard hotel room rarely gives you both a semicircle of seating and changing space, so ask whether a function room or lounge is available.
Do you need the venue’s permission?
If the property is a holiday let, hotel, hired room or club, the venue needs to know adult-themed entertainment is booked and agree in advance. We can send public liability documentation to any venue that asks.

The Esplanade runs along the beach, with the Beacon at its centre. Kirkleatham has the museum and walled garden. Deposits, cancellations and refunds
A fixed £20 deposit secures your booking and is deducted from the total. If you cancel, it is not refunded.

Do we need to be able to draw?
No, and nothing is taught. Previous experience makes no difference to how much you get out of the session.
Do we provide the drinks?
Yes. You supply all food, drink and glassware. Your host serves it during the second 45 minutes.
What if our numbers change?
The £260 is a flat group rate, so numbers rising does not change the base price. If your group may fall below six, tell us before you pay.
