Worth being blunt about the wording, since it is the question people tend to arrive with. People search for this service as “naked butlers”, “butlers in the buff” or “topless butlers”, and whichever phrase brought you here, none of them is a description of what happens.

The Rotherham butler service involves no stripping and no full nudity. A butler booking will let down a group hoping for something undressed, and it is far better they find that out now than on the night.

Can we take photographs?

Nothing is undressed, so photographs are welcome for the full two hours — with the butler's agreement, and subject to whatever your venue allows. Worth checking the rest of the group wants to be in them before anyone starts.

Three rules that do not move

No touching. Physical contact with the entertainer is not permitted. Banter both ways is fine; that is the line.

Over-18s only, across the whole address. Not just the room the party is in. Someone asleep upstairs or sitting out in the kitchen counts the same, and there is no version of this rule with an exception in it.

The apron stays on for the duration, whatever anyone asks.

How much is a buff butler in Rotherham?

From £170 for one host across two hours, plus travel.

The price is billed to the group, which matters because it changes what the booking is worth per person. At the starting price, six guests work out to roughly £28 a head, and twelve to roughly £14. The starting price does not multiply by headcount — though a larger group may need a second host.

One host generally covers a group of up to about twelve. Beyond that, we might propose a second host, depending on the room, the plan for the evening, and how much pouring you want done. If we do, the reason and extra cost land on your quote before you agree to anything — and turning it down is entirely your call.

Extra time and extra hosts are priced when you enquire. Travel is calculated as a journey to your address and itemised so it isn't a surprise later. As long as the booking details stay as quoted, you will be charged the written figure.

£20 reserves the date and is knocked off the total.

How booking works

1. Tell us when, where and roughly how many. We generate your quote instantly and email it to you, with travel broken out separately.
2. A host is confirmed free before any money moves. The price alone does not reserve the date.
3. £20 locks it in and is deducted from what is owed.
4. The rest is due on the date printed on your confirmation. Read that confirmation properly and flag anything that looks wrong immediately.
5. Square it with the venue if you are not booking at home.

If the date is fixed and cannot move, enquire sooner — it widens the pool of hosts we can offer. Short-notice enquiries are still worth making; it comes down to who happens to be free.

Why Rotherham works well for this experience

Cancellation and refund policy

What you get back depends on the notice given. These are the refund positions set out in the Terms and Conditions:

• The £20 deposit is not refunded if you cancel.
• More than 30 days before: the balance is refunded in full and the deposit retained.
• 14 to 30 days before: 50% of the balance is refunded and the deposit retained.
• Less than 14 days before: the balance is not refunded.

“Balance” means the booking price less the £20 deposit. Where a band says the balance is refunded, that applies to balance money already received. Where a balance has fallen due and has not been paid, what remains payable is governed by the Terms.

A cancellation exactly 30 days out is treated under the 14-to-30 band. You can shift a date if a host is available; within the final fortnight, that may instead count as a cancellation.

If Buff Boyz cannot go ahead, the Terms offer a replacement host, another date, or a full refund including the deposit.

Bookings are taken under the Buff Boyz Terms and Conditions, covering confirmation, payments, cancellation, rescheduling, age requirements, entertainer boundaries, venue suitability and the booker's responsibilities. Paying the deposit means accepting them.
