The tree-lined, glass-canopied boulevard of Lord Street is the heart of Southport's independent bar scene. A class at your place gives you all the cocktails and none of the waiting.
Southport Pier has been closed since 2022 and is now part-way through a £20m restoration, with reopening expected around 2027. The seafront, Marine Lake and promenade still make a great backdrop.
