Session Format
What Happens During the Session
A hen party life drawing session is an adults-only drawing activity hosted by a male model who then acts as your butler. It is entertainment-led rather than a taught art class, and no tutor qualification is implied. Nobody is expected to be able to draw.
The Life Drawing Half
Your model sets the group up, hands out materials and works through a run of poses while everyone sketches, keeping things moving with light prompts along the way.
Sketchpads, pencils and boards come with the booking, so there is nothing to buy or bring.
The Butler Hosting Half
For the second half the model hosts in bow tie and cuffs — serving the drinks you have supplied, joining group photos and running ice-breakers.
He does not bring or provide alcohol, soft drinks, mixers, ice or glassware. Those are yours to sort out in advance, which is worth remembering if your venue is a self-catering let with no shop nearby.
Room Setup
What a Session Needs From the Room
This is the part most organisers underestimate, so it is worth getting right before you book.
You need a room where the group can sit facing a clear area for the model to pose — a lounge with the sofas pushed back usually works better than a dining room with a fixed table in the middle.
Everyone needs a sight line to the model; if half the group is behind a corner or an island unit, they will spend the session craning.

Private Changing Room
You need somewhere private for the model to change, with a door that closes. A spare bedroom or a bathroom is fine.
Access and Parking
Check in advance whether the venue has awkward access such as a shared entrance or stairs with no lift, and whether there is anywhere nearby to park or drop off.

Every guest must be 18 or over. This is an adult entertainment booking with no exceptions, so please confirm everyone attending meets that before paying a deposit.
Comfort and Taking Part
No drawing experience is needed and nobody has to sketch — guests who would rather sit back and watch are welcome to.
If someone in your group would find full nudity uncomfortable, the bow tie and cuffs option keeps the session lighter.
Photography and Consent
Group photos are a normal part of the hosting half, but nobody has to be in them — anyone who would rather not appear simply steps out of the frame.
Photos taken on your own phones and cameras are yours.
Group Size
Group size affects both the price and how the session runs, so include your expected numbers in your enquiry.
If they change afterwards, tell us as early as you can — we will re-confirm your price and check the arrangement still suits the new size.
