Buff Boyz brings the whole experience directly to you. A professional male model arrives at your Chichester Airbnb, hotel, or private venue, sets up everything, and guides your group through a mix of sketching exercises and light entertainment. No artistic ability needed. No awkward silences. Just a room full of friends, pencils in hand, and a lot of laughter.
We’ve delivered over 500 sessions across West Sussex — from city apartments near Chichester Cathedral to countryside retreats in the South Downs — each one adapted to the group, the vibe, and the venue.
What happens during the session
Each session runs for 90 minutes and follows a structure that’s been refined across hundreds of bookings.
0–15 minutes: Welcome and warm-up. The model arrives, sets up, and breaks the ice with quick 60-second poses. Everyone’s pencil is moving within minutes — no pressure, just laughter as people realise they’re not as bad as they expected.
15–45 minutes: Main drawing session. Longer guided poses — between five and fifteen minutes — with tips from the model on shading and proportion. Sketches start getting surprisingly good at this point.
45–75 minutes: Games, drinks, and hosting. The model transitions into host mode — leading group games, judging the best (and worst) sketches, and helping keep glasses topped up. This is usually when the noise levels peak.
75–90 minutes: Group photos and send-off. Organised photo opportunities with your artwork before the model packs down and leaves your venue exactly as he found it. All sketches are yours to keep.
What’s included
Every booking includes the model who is also one of our buff butlers in Chichester, A2 drawing pads, graphite pencils (multiple grades), and backing boards for every participant. The model handles setup and pack-down at your venue — you don’t need to prepare anything or source any materials.
The hosting section includes drinks service and purpose-built party games that work for any group, whether your friends are competitive about their sketches or just there for the occasion. Organised group photos with the completed artwork are included at the end.
Nude or bow-tie — you choose
Groups choose between a nude model or the classic bow-tie-and-cuffs look when they book. Both options are fully professional. If you’re unsure what your group would prefer, nude tends to get a stronger reaction on the night, but either works well for mixed groups and mixed ages.
Where we work in Chichester
We come to you — no venue hire required. Sessions work well in apartments, Airbnbs, hotel suites, and private houses. You need enough floor space for your group to sit comfortably with drawing boards on their laps.
We’ve run sessions in everything from a converted barn near the South Downs to a city-centre flat two streets from the cathedral.
Pricing
Sessions start from £250, which includes the model, all materials, setup, the full sketching session, hosting, games, and photos. There are no additional charges on the day.
The Sip & Sketch upgrade combines life drawing with a mobile cocktail-making class in Chichester as a single booking — ideal for groups who want two activities without the hassle of coordinating two separate suppliers. Pricing for this and other enhancements is available on request.
A small deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due five days before the event.

Frequently asked questions
Does anyone need drawing experience?
No. The model guides every exercise, and shorter warm-up poses ease everyone in regardless of ability. The gap between the best and worst sketch in the room is usually what generates the most entertainment.
How many people can join?
Sessions work well for groups of 6 to 20. Below six the room can feel quiet during the sketching section; above twenty it takes on more of a party atmosphere. Let us know your headcount when you enquire and we’ll advise on the format.
What kind of venue works best?
Anywhere with enough floor space for the group to sit comfortably. Apartments, Airbnbs, hotel suites, and private houses all work. We bring everything — you just need a room.
How far in advance should we book?
Weekend dates between May and September typically fill 6–8 weeks ahead. Midweek bookings are more flexible. If your date is less than two weeks away, contact us directly rather than waiting on the form — we can often accommodate last-minute requests.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable, but we’re flexible on rescheduling with at least two weeks’ notice. The remaining balance is fully refundable if we’re unable to fulfil the booking on our side. Full policy details are provided at the time of booking.
Can we add other activities?
Yes. The Sip & Sketch package adds a mobile cocktail-making class to the session. We can also extend the hosting section or arrange a double-butler format for larger groups. Mention it when you request your quote.
